Reinvention

Humming Bird Wings beating about 53 times per second
This is my post-divorce recovery write-up.

My thirst for self-discovery hurtled me to far-reaching points of the unconventional me; I have found myself in search of awakening hunger for life and spirit. I had been searching deep within myself to find what it is that would make life more meaningful. If that means shedding an unfulfilling relationship, so be it. At my happiest times, I have found myself less likely to shop and eat.--and I heard my body and planet silently thanking me. I have concluded to live a simple, happy, healthy, and a peaceful life; and that Happiness is No Purchase Necessary (take a hike, watching birds, read a book, play music, caligraphy, listen to music, immerse in nature, etc).

At the time of this writing, I have already reinvented myself into something that has a great deal of meaning for me. I adore all works and efforts that the environmentists have done for the planet. I am definitely ready for the next great adventure: to take control, and make all the important stuff happen; and yet remember to have my time alone for reflection.

My perfect day would have to start with some readings and writing (or blogings) that made me feel I accomplished something - Then that would give me permission to go relax on catching up on everything including a long hike in the hills around my house, watching wildlife around my house, playing music, doing calligraphy, seeing friends, visiting book stores, tea house, etc.

Finding out what brings my bliss takes time - but learning how to sit quietly by myself aids in the journey to fulfillment. I learn to incorporate daily "must-do" and "must-read", I learn to be responsible for myself. the journey need not be external, I believe self-transformation can happen internally.

The life I lead and my legacy
Finding my purpose -- I hope my legacy would be two fold: one - that I contribute as an individual to make a big difference in the world, and two -- that things I do in the forecoming years will touch a million life and helped them for better livings.

The green movement
I found my past life has lots of contradiction with my green movement by just living simply and happily in nature. Though individual actions can collectively make a difference, I am now READY and try to help to make a difference in my community and across the globe.

I read, search for truth.. I engage in activities, social works, lectures, culture events -- much of a satisfaction accomplishments fulfillment for myself.

The political movement
Several months of reading taught me policy and legistature are an important part for the environmental movement. People is not going to change unless it makes economic sense for them. We need policy and legistature to set standards, provide incentives for people who are too lazy to change their "business as usual" atitutdes.

Changing a light bulb in your house is not as important as it built a politicial statement which represents a message to the political party/policy makers that will change things.
